Managed desktop and laptop services manages and supports your desktop and laptop estate. We provide both remote and onsite support, as required. Where a desktop or laptop problem cannot be resolved remotely, an engineer can be sent to the user’s desk-side to resolve the problem.

We install, or re-install, desktop office application software (such as Microsoft Office) as well as troubleshooting and responding to “how to” requests. We manage local user accounts and roaming profiles and provide an anti-virus and anti-spyware service. Additionally, we process the hardware warranty service.

Build and configure desktops and laptops
We build and configure desktops and laptops to meet your requirements. We can also maintain a database of standard desktop builds. This service can include the creation of standard software images.

Role/Policy Based Computing (RBC)
We can implement Role/Policy Based Computing (RBC) and appropriate management software to manage the configurations of end user devices, allowing a greater degree of flexibility and diversity.

This approach means that each machine is configured specifically for the purpose for which it is intended and the automation means that each machine is configured according to a standard process. Should a fault occur, rebuilding the machine in situ is quick and easy and doesn’t require an engineer to attend site, analyse the problem and manually rebuild the machine.
