Our Connection Services cover the provision, management and support of connections to the internet and to third party secure networks such as Government Connect and the NHS New National Network (N3).
Internet connection service
We provide shared connectivity to the internet, available for equipment hosted at our data centres or connected to the Capita Group wide area network (WAN). Typically, this is used to access web applications. The service includes guaranteed allocation of internet bandwidth, resilience through dual connectivity - where required, firewall infrastructure and 24-hour monitoring from our dedicated Operations Bridge.
Government Connect service
We provide a secure and cost effective answer to the Government Connect programme, offering a two tiered service.
- Advisory service – We will review your existing IT infrastructure and establish your Government Connect capabilities and options.
- Managed service – We will host and manage services requiring secure transfer of data through our existing service delivery infrastructure. You benefit from the economies of scale and security embedded in our service.
