The Public Sector is in a period of unprecedented financial challenge. Whilst opportunities for shared services, more cost efficient use of resources and targeting spend on those most in need have always been on the agenda the current financial climate is focussing minds more closely to squeeze the maximum benefit from every pound spent. Alasdair believes that Capita has a critical role to play in this with its vast experience of streamlining services and delivering projects which enable more money to be directed to front line services.

Who is Alasdair?
Alasdair Reid Alasdair has over 30 years of IT experience over half of which has been in senior roles working with the Public Sector. He has worked closely with major Departments of State, Agencies and Local Authorities up to and including Permanent Secretary and Chief Executive level.
